Significant progress is being made at our Meelunie GPI A/S fava bean production site! Every day another piece of the puzzle comes together, and steadily the factory is closing up. The building is expected to be closed before the middle of December. Soon after that, the processing equipment is to be put in place. Meanwhile, the silos for fava bean protein isolate and fava bean starch are patiently waiting to be set up in the factory.
The wet processing section is also well underway, and soon we will be ready to cast the floors. With plenty of cranes operating daily and many people present on-site, it’s already very lively. At its peak in the first quarter of 2023, some 100 to 110 people will be working simultaneously on-site to install and connect everything!
